Installing the DC Metal Fabricators frame kit is a two step process that keeps all of the frame dimensions correct.  After removing the cross member and the center portion of the frame, the inside portion of the DC Metal replacement rail is tacked into place.  You can see that I actually zipped it in there pretty good.  I was afraid of the frame tweaking.

This was done on both sides of the frame.

Now the outer sections can be removed and the rest of the frame kit tacked into place.
